From poet Hannah Jane Walker and theatre maker Chris Thorpe - the duo behind 2011's award-winning The Oh F*ck Moment - comes I Wish I Was Lonely, a participatory show about contactability in the Facebook/Twitter age in which the audience commit to leaving their telephones on during the show. Staged at Kendal Brewery Arts Centre tonight (Thursday, 8pm), phone-calls and texts received by the audience during the show may trigger additional material, making each performance unique. I Wish I Was Lonely looks at the effect our constant mobile contactability has on our happiness, our personalities and on the changing boundaries of ourselves as social beings in a world where we are always βin touch.β
