HUGE in attitude but small in stature - that's Thumbelina.
This year's Brewery Arts Centre Christmas show sees the miniature maiden, together with her adventuring Granny and a forest full of animals, set off on a whirlwind adventure to the big bad city.
Featuring a gangster mole, singing fish, biker beetles and crooning birds, award-winning physical theatre company Dancing Brick perform the brand-new, brightly-coloured, action-packed musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre from Monday, December 15 until Sunday, December 28.
Put together by Dancing Brick and Mac Birmingham in association with the Brewery, Thumbelina's Great Big Adventure is a commission by Cambridge Junction, packed with puppetry, clowning, live music, all topped off with a sprinkling of snow.
