TREAD Productions will be putting on an extra performance of its Beauty and the Beast show in aid of the Cumbria Flood Appeal on Thursday, January 14 (7pm) at Kendal Town Hall. Donations will be collected on the door (minimum £5 per person) and all proceeds will go to those affected by recent events.

There will also be another performance on Friday, January 15 (7pm), before the show heads to the Liverpool Epstein Theatre to complete its hugely successful tour.

Set in a small village just outside Paris, which is ruled by Prince Galliant, the timeless tale of chivalry and unforeseen romance is filled with beastly charm and gags aplenty, spearheaded by lovable characters such as Potty Pierre and Dame Dotty.

Directed and choreographed by Graham Tudor, he says the spectacular show will be a high octane explosion of colour and verve, bound together by hit songs such as Uptown Funk, Shut Up and Dance and the gothic centrepiece, Close Every Door from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Tread is one of the UK's leading providers of theatre, representation, entertainment, acting schools and drama works. It was established in 2007 by professional actors and husband and wife team, Helen Noble and Graham Tudor. Helen is best known as Abby Davies from Channel 4's Hollyoaks; Graham was a leading West End actor before injuring his back. His credits include playing the title role of Joseph in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
