FOUR of the region's talented voices are centre stage in Preston Opera's The Magic Flute.
Running at the Charter Theatre from March 17-19 (7.30pm), three of the principal roles are sung by singers from Ulverston - James Marczak takes the tenor lead role of Tamino, John Brice, the baritone lead, Papageno, while Naomi Marczak sings Second Boy. Kendal soprano Emily Robinson, sings Queen of the Night. All four are members of the popular local opera group Encore.
