ULVERSTON Outsiders' next theatrical outing is one of the most popular plays of all time - Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
A classic Wilde comedy, it tells of two bachelors, John ‘Jack’ Worthing and Algernon ‘Algy’ Moncrieff, played by Duncan Lindsay and Adam Atkinson, who create alter egos named Ernest to escape their tiresome lives.
Running at Ulverston's Coronation Hall, from Tuesday until Saturday, March 21-25, Claire Boulter and Hannah Mitchell portray the two leading ladies, Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew.
Box office 01229-587140.
