GRASMERE Players summer production is Oscar Wilde's wonderfully witty The Importance Of Being Ernest, with performances still to come on Thursday, June 22; from Wednesday-Friday, June 28-30; Wednesday-Friday, July 5-7; and Wednesday and Thursday, July 12-13. Jack and Algernon are played by Jolyon Stephenson and Ben Abdelnoor, Gwendolen and Cicely by Lynda Newell and Poppy Garrett, Lady Bracknell by Moira Rowlinson, Miss Prism by Christine Wright, Canon Chasuble by Mike Derry and Hugh Wright plays the parts of the two butlers.
