NEWS is out about the next performance of A Passion for Kendal, pencilled in for Easter 2020.
To get the ball rolling for the massive event, an open workshop is being held at Kendal's St Thomas’s Church on Thursday, March 8, for church communities to join with Kendal Community Theatre, local choirs, musicians and community organisations to plan and share what will be a powerful act of creativity and mission.
Those leading the workshop will be Caroline Moir, the play's writer; Passion's musical director and composer, Anne Pater, and Chris Taylor, Carlisle Diocese's Chaplain to the Arts. Also attending will be two leading lights in the Passion Play movement - Alex Stewart Clark, director of the Passion Trust, and Jeff Thomas, spiritual director and Passion Play actor.
The St Thomas’s session will run from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
