MIDSUMMER Night’s Dream is coming to Sizergh Castle.
As part of its summer tour of open-air shows, Say Two Productions is staging one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays in the stunning suroundings of the historic house on July 25.
There will be a pre-show talk by artistic director Christine Appleby at 6.45pm with the performance starting at 7.30pm.
And a bucket collection will be held in aid of the Cash For Kids charity.
Say Two return to Sizergh on August 15, to perform Pygmalion.
For further information and tickets telephone 01257-453956.
Meanwhile, Christine is auditioning for roles in Fame - The Musical for Say Two’s six-month tour of Italy, which starts from Milan in September.
The globe-trotting Preston-based theatre company, which is well-known for taking ‘Shakespeare to the People’ and undertakes educational work in schools and colleges, has just returned from The Bahamas, where Christine told me they had introduced Macbeth to young audiences in Freeport and Nassau.
