DAVE Macleod is one of the foremost names in climbing.
On Saturday, January 28 (7.30pm), the accomplished climber travels from the Scottish Highlands where he lives to Rheged at Penrith to share his experience of ascending Longhope, the hardest multipitch route in the UK as well as some of his other high altitude adventures.
Illustrated with great images and videos from Dave’s personal collection, he’ll recall his achievements in traditional climbing, plus mixed climbing with ice axes and crampons.
