By Adrian Mullen, Arts correspondent
A SPECTACULAR open-air theatre production of Black Beauty is being staged in the grounds of Holker Hall on Saturday, July 14.
This is apparently the first time that the children's classic has been adapted for the stage and is touring the UK this summer, performing at some of the most magnificent heritage and country houses in Britain. Produced by award-winning BBC playwright Susannah Daley and PEEL Heritage, the story has been adapted by James Stone.
Performances at 2pm and 7pm. To book telephone 015395-58328.
