Smiths legend Johnny Marr to play northern gig

ARGUABLY the greatest guitarist of his generation is on his way to the region.

The legendary Johnny Marr, once of The Smiths, Electronic, The The, Modest Mouse and The Cribs, will play Preston’s 53 Degrees on Friday, March 8, as a warm-up show for his forthcoming nationwide tour.
