ACCLAIMED Brummie four-piece are to play a gig at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre in May.

The indie quartet will come to Cumbria as part of their 13-date tour.

Forming in autumn 2011, Peace made an instant impact with their debut single ‘Follow Baby’ gaining early support throughout Radio 1, as well as receiving great praise from critics across the board.

Landing somewhere between acid house and Aztec Camera, their whirlpool of syrupy melodies, muscular rhythms and miasmic guitars is tied together by a desire to bend their instruments’ capacity (The Fly).

The band have already supported the likes of Manic Street Preachers, The Vaccines and Mystery Jets across the UK and Europe.

Their tropically infused indie and 2013 debut album ‘In Love’, featuring much-loved tracks ‘Toxic’, ‘Lovesick’, ‘Follow Baby’ to name a few.

They will be supported by New York rock band Drowners at the gig on May 29.
