FURNESS Bach Choir with the Holborne Players Baroque Orchestra perform Handel’s Messiah at St Mary's Parish Church, Dalton-in-Furness, on Saturday (April 5, 7.30pm).
Handel's magnificent oratorio consists of choruses, recitatives, duets and solos, in three sections - the final section culminating in the exciting chorus Worthy is the Lamb. Under the baton of musical director Anthony Milledge, it promises to be a splendid evening of high-quality singing.
