LUNESDALE Music is holding its first local music festival in the beautiful Lune valley.

Lunesdale Live will be held at Docker Park Farm, just outside Arkholme, on July 12.

The festival features a whole day of music with a host of local bands including: T-Bone, Daniel Ray Band, Black Cat, The Hayden Funk Project and Off the Rails.

There will also be open mic slots for aspiring performers.

Lunesdale Music is a not-for-profit group of music enthusiasts based in the Lune Valley, with the sole intention of promoting live music for local people.

After a successful run of annual blues nights last year featuring the world famous Dr Feelgood at Whittington Village Hall, they are sowing the seeds for an annual summer festival.

Tickets are £5 available online at http://lunesdale-music.blogspot.co.uk/ and also at Docker Park Farm or Arkholme post office, £7 on the day.
