LANCASTER film production company Gorgeous Media say they are ‘thrilled’ with the response to their music video for local singer Ashleigh Wood’s latest single Bring Me Sunshine.

The video for the cover of Morecambe and Wise’s signature song starts in Morecambe on a drab, rainy day and explodes into action when Ashleigh brings the Eric Morecambe sculpture to life

She then spends the rest of the day with him at the seaside - from crazy golfing and swing boating at Happy Mount Park to building sandcastles on the beach and dancing down the stone jetty.

Gorgeous Media Producer Janine Bebbington said, “As a local film company, it was important to us to show Morecambe off at its best.”

The film concludes as Ashleigh and Eric (played by Paul Frith) skip dance (in Morecambe and Wise fashion) along the prom off into the sunset.

As they dance, we see them followed by a very enthusiastic flash mob made up of friends, neighbours and members of Morecambe Brass Band.

Cameraman Jonny Patchett said, “We filmed the flashmob scenes along the prom early

one Saturday morning in April.

“It was blowing a gale and freezing cold and so we had to be quick! However, you’d think when you watch the film that Ashleigh’s dancing galong in the middle of summer!”
