THE latest meeting of Cumbria's Full Moon Club will feature an acclaimed folk duo.
Originating from Sheffield via the Peak District, The Rheingans Sisters features sisters Rowan and Anna, and will headline the club's meet up on Friday April 22 at Slough Farm in Docker.
The pair's performance follows their nomination for the BBC Radio 2 Horizons Award 2016.
The Full Moon Club has been running for nearly four years and meets on the night of every full moon for an informal evening of acoustic music in an intimate environment.
Organiser Bill Lloyd set the event up with the intention of providing an accessible place where people could hear live folk music.
"People can come and meet and just play acoustic music," Bill said. "Sometimes musicians feel that they are background music at an event but it's not like that here.
"I'm a big believer in not having amplifiers. With amplifiers people can talk under the music and that detracts from the atmosphere.
"With no amps people listen, and that's better for the musicians and the audience."
The events usually take place in the Bothy on Shap Fell, however bigger 'house' concerts take place at Bill's farm.
