KENDAL South Choir performs Haydn’s lively, dramatic and imaginative Creation at St Thomas’s Church on Saturday, May 7 (7.30pm). This will be the final concert with Ian Thompson who has been musical director of the choir for the last five years. The outstanding and much sought after soloists for the concert will be soprano, Laurie Ashworth, tenor, Richard Pollock, and bass baritone, Ian Caddy, all of whom promise to make sure the it an enjoyable and memorable performance. The Lonsdale Classical Players will accompany the soloists and choir led by Ian.
