NOMINATED for Musician Of The Year at this year's BBC Folk Awards after a highly successful 2015, singer and banjo maestro Dan Walsh is returning with another busy UK spring tour.
Dan will play the Coronation Hall in Ulverston, giving South Lakes folk fans a chance to watch Dan's famed skill with the clawhammer banjo technique.
Last year saw the release of critically acclaimed album 'Incidents and Accidents' and a practically non-stop tour schedule which saw successful tours all over the world.
This will be the first opportunity to hear new material from the next album to be released. Music from Dan's three critically acclaimed albums will also be performed.
Dan Walsh his name with duo Walsh and Pound and is now a member of the award winning Urban Folk Quartet.
He has also made guest appearances with Joss Stone, the Levellers and Seth Lakeman, playing gigs in the USA, Canada, Germany, India, Norway and New Zealand.
Dan also has a passion for outreach work and through the prestigious Live Music Now scheme he has performed throughout the UK in hospices, hospitals, special schools and care homes.
