MANCHESTER blues band Gorilla Riot are set to play at Another Fine Fest in Ulverston.
The acclaimed guitar group will appear at the Rose & Crown as part of the bill organised by Manchester creative collective Samsara Sessions.
Gorilla Riot play both electric and acoustic blues rock music, with influences from country and southern rock.
Central to their sound are the three-part vocal harmonies. Their performances have gained them airplay on BBC radio and the backing of Manchester stalwart John Bramwell, of I Am Kloot.
The band's latest EP, 'Six Shots Down', was released on January 23 this year. It followed the band's eponymous debut record, which came out in March 2014, and a live EP the came out a month later.
Another Fine Fest will be taking place in Ulverston across two outdoor stages and a number of venues on June 18.
It is a festival which celebrates a large variety of different art forms, with comedy, art and theatre featuring alongside the musical lineup.
The festival takes place in celebration of legendary Ulverston-born comedian Stan Laurel's birthday.
