TWO new crowd-pulling exhibitions have opened at Brantwood. The Blue Gallery in the former Coniston home of John Ruskin hosts Albrecht Durer: Beyond the Burden of Brilliance, featuring the finely crafted woodcuts and engravings of one of the greatest exponents of Northern European Renaissance art. Meanwhile, in Brantwood's Severn Studio Heysham-based artist Patricia Haskey's sketches, oil paintings and mixed media paintings are on show in her A Feeling for Landscape exhibition.
