CAROLINE Moir's Lady Anne Clifford: A Woman Cast Out - which was performed in Kendal in 2013 - takes centre stage at Abbot Hall Art Gallery on Thursday, October 20 (5pm-6pm) as part of the gallery's Great Lives Talk series.
Caroline undertook extensive research to bring the historic character to life in vivid and memorable ways and she will reflect on the process of creating the play. Sheelagh O’Brien, the actress who played Lady Anne in her older life, presents a series of monologues, adding further insights into some of the significant moments of Lady Anne’s turbulent life.
