TWO new striking exhibitions have opened at Upfront Gallery, near Hutton in the Forest, both inspired by images from the natural world. The bold and colourful brush strokes of Julie Dumbarton's impressionistic landscape oils are full of bravura and energy and on show until November 18. Exhibiting until October 30, is Mary Ann Rogers, well-known for her expressive watercolours of animals and birds captured with wit and humour.
