AN acclaimed Christmas show will be performed at the Brewery Arts Centre this winter.

The Albion Christmas Band, comprising members of a variety of legendary folk bands, will play the venue tomorrow night (December 16).

Featuring the combined talents of renowned acoustic guitarist and singer Simon Nicol (Fairport Convention), Kellie While (Albion Band) Simon Care (Edward II) and founder Ashley Hutchings, founder of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band, this show takes an eclectic approach to Christmas celebrations.

The Albion Christmas Show is a seasonal mixture of carols, spoken word, humorous readings and dance.

This year’s tour will feature material from the band’s new studio album “Magic Touch”, which was released on Talking Elephant Records on November 18, alongside plenty of old favourites from their back catalogue.

In the past the show has sold out the likes of venues suck as Buxton Opera House, The New Vic Stoke and The Sage, Gateshead.

The members are taking time out from their other successful ventures to perform this festive show.

The show is suitable for all ages. Tickets are available from the Brewery website or from the box office.
