THE exciting voice of Rebecca Chandler features in Staveley Choral Society's spring concert Primavera Venture on March 25 (7.30pm).
Talented Rebecca - a student at Kirkby Lonsdale's Queen Elizabeth School - is a member of Amabile Girls Choir and will lead the Staveley soloists in a rich choral programme, which includes the well-known Zadok the Priest by Herr Handel; Ubi Caritas by Monsieur Durufle; and an arrangement of the traditional Spiritual Down to the River to Pray heard in the Cohen Brothers’ film Oh Brother, where art though?
Tickets for the Staveley Village Hall performance are available at Staveley Pharmacy or at the door.
