HAROLD Lloyd's 1927 hit The Kid Brother returns to the big screen at the Royalty Cinema, on Saturday (May 6, 5pm) as the first in a series of silent film presentations. The Wild West adventure sees Lloyd star as the puny youngest son of the town sheriff constantly trying to prove himself to his family and his sweetheart, Mary. Accompanied live by Paul Gregson at the Wurlitzer organ, the movie season is part of events to mark the Bowness cinema's 90th anniversary which also includes falls this year. Other films featured include Underworld on June 17; The Hunchback of Notre Dame on July 22; the IT movie on August 19, and The Flying Scotsman on September 16.
