A GUITARIST who has been playing his instrument since the age of four will demonstrate his mastery in Ulverston.

Sunjay plays a mix of blues and country music, reminiscent of the deep south of America.

He grew up in Derbyshire, born to English and Indian parents.

His musical inspiration originally came from Buddy Holly, whose music he began to play from the age of four, taught by his dad.

From those early childhood musical steps, Sunjay has in every sense, grown up in public, having performed regularly to ever increasing audiences from the age of seven.

Now, still only in his mid-twenties, Sunjay has become a master guitarist, with a well-crafted stage show.

He was recently invited to play Buddy in the touring stage show of ‘Buddy Holly and The Cricketers’.

The show’s producers were very impressed with Sunjay’s singing and playing as well as his familiarity with Buddy’s repertoire.

Sunjay plays Ulverston Live Music at Ulverston Sports Club on July 7.
