ANOTHER series of Friday lunchtime organ concerts begins at Kendal Parish Church on Friday, September 15, with the return of distinguished Cumbrian musician, choir director and composer, Ian Hare. Organ duets and piano pieces feature in the following concert on September 29 courtesy of the prominent pairing of Charles Edmondson and Nigel Duce, with highly regarded organists Geoffrey Field (October 13); Karen Au (October 27); Andy Plowman (November 10), and David Brindle (November 24) completing the series line-up.
There will be a retiring collection with proceeds to the church's Organ Restoration Fund.
Performances run from 12.30pm-1.15pm.
