DISTINGUISHED Australian pianist Piers Lane is celebrated worldwide as a dazzlingly dexterous, engaging, and highly sensitive musician at home equally in solo, chamber and concerto repertoire. He performs with the world’s great orchestras, at prestigious festivals, and has written and presented more than 100 programmes for BBC Radio 3, including the popular series The Piano. A five times soloist at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall, he also directed the annual Myra Hess Day at the National Gallery in London from its start in 2006 until 2013.

On Sunday, April 22 (7.30pm), the acclaimed London-based virtuoso plays Keswick Music Society's final concert of the season at Theatre by the Lake.
