WHEN Bob Sutcliffe was 46 he developed a rare heart condition and following a viral heart attack in 2017 as part of the road to recovery was encouraged by his brother to do something relaxing and paint. So he started painting, something he hadn’t attempted since his school days. Amazingly, Witherslack based Bob developed a remarkable new skill and since has created umpteen stunning paintings with the profits from his art going to the British Heart Foundation and Children with Cancer. Bob will be exhibiting his work at Witherslack Shop for a month from Saturday, May 5.
