HIGHLY respected Cumbrian painter Julian Cooper is to feature on two television programmes this summer.
Julian, whose marvellous, monumental works graced exhibitions at London's Art Space Gallery and Kendal's Abbot Hall Art Gallery last year, will be seen painting at the Bowder Stone in Borrowdale in popular explorer and broadcaster Paul Rose's not-to-be-missed The Lakes, lined-up for BBC2 next month.
Also coming up on TV's More 4 in an episode of The Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes, Julian will be at work in his studio in Cockermouth, painting Rannerdale Knott from the shore of Crummock, and choosing paintings for a new exhibition of his family’s work at the Heaton Cooper Studio.
