MORE people than ever turned out to support Sedbergh Spring Show.
The People’s Hall in the town was taken over by some of the finest examples of arts, crafts, plants, cakes as more than 300 enjoyed a day out.
Show chairman Margaret Milburn said events like the show were important to the community.
“People really look forward to it,” she said. “Those that came were quite astounded by the beautiful crafts on show. It was a lovely day.”
Everything from handmade toys to photographs was on display at the event, which was resurrected in 1996 after a hiatus.
Mrs Milburn said: “Any money raised from the show we give out to the community.
"Our next show is already in the calendar for March 31 2012 so I would encourage people to get knitting!”
