Clearly, driving a vehicle with one finger shouldn’t be attempted in the real world — it’s nigh-on impossible, not to mention a tad dangerous.

But enter the world of the iPhone and anything can be achieved on that touchscreen! Touch Racing Nitro charges you with speeding your tiny vehicle around an ever-twisting host of tracks — all achieved with one dextrous digit (well, two when you need a nitro boost) The 3D graphics are really impressive on the small screen and after a few warm-up laps you’ll find yourself zooming around without a care in the world.

This is the kind of game that demands a high level of real-life competition, and you can race against your friends’ ghost vehicles from their best laps.

A stiff challenge indeed, but once the intuitive touch controls have been mastered, who knows where your twiddling thumb or finger may take you?
