Review: Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, Wii, £49.99

Games are increasingly blurring the lines between the virtual and reality.

Spyro, the small purple dragon, has been around long enough to know that gameplay is what makes a title brilliant, not plastic peripherals, but in this Skylanders adventure the real-world characters do an excellent job of enhancing the overall experience.

When placed in the ‘Portal of Power’, the plastic pieces transport into the game world, and allow players to continue the incredibly enjoyable combination of explosive action, combat and adventure.
