Here I go...

What should I write? What will people expect after the build up I got in the Gazette the week before last? For me this is the first time I have dipped my toe into the water that is 'Blogging', so I may be a little inept. Context, that's perhaps what readers need, before substance (or lack of it) so here goes. The Beacon Team is a group of Parishes comprising the Anglican Churches in Burneside, Grayrigg, Kendal (St. George), Longsleddale, Selside and Skelsmergh. Two full time clergy along with other Assistant Clergy and Lay Readers serve these churches and their parishes. The views expressed in the Blog will be my own ruminations on life, from my perspective as Team Rector of these six Parishes and a person who is called Nigel. Perhaps they will reflect something of my on going journey of faith. May be they will be of interest to some folk, amusing to others and offensive to none.

So there we are - first real Blog tomorrow.
