10pm 4th May Greensburg, Kansas. A nocturnal tornado hit the town of Greensburg killing 19 people in total, 10 people in the town average age was 65. We had sat on the edge of town all afternoon waiting for the storms to develop as predicted. We sat and chatted with other chasers like the Outlaw Chasers see photo http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2218/2167229852_e49e74f07f_m.jpg
It soon became apparent that if things might happen it would be late at night and so when we saw the storms develop on radar 90 miles south west on our location we made the decision to set off towards them.
