Police looking for men who stripped their friend naked on train to Barrow

British Transport Police officers are appealing for information after a man was stripped naked by his friends on board a train near Barrow.

The incident happened on-board the 9.50pm Ulverston to Barrow service on Saturday, August 4.

Special Constable Adam Heslop said: “A group of men boarded the train at Ulverston and, whilst en-route to Barrow, began to undress one of their friends. This continued until the man was completely naked.

“The men clearly thought this was an hilarious practical joke, but, in reality, it left several other passengers extremely distressed.”

In a bid to trace those responsible CCTV images have been released of the men officers would like to speak to.

Mr Heslop added: “The behaviour of the men was completely unacceptable and it is imperative we trace them as soon as possible.

“Further, I urge those responsible to come forward and take responsibility for their actions.”
