Two Grasmere burglaries in two days

Cumbria police are appealing for information about two Grasmere burglary in two days.
In the early hours of Thursday (October 25) two men entered an unsecure house on High Fell Side and stole money.
The first man was described as being in his late 40s, wearing a dark bobble hat, dark brown rimmed glasses and a dark jacket.
The second was younger but also wearing a dark jacket.
In the early hours of Friday (October 26), two men broke into the Co-operative store on Broadgate.
They fled empty handed after being disturbed and left the scene in a burgundy coloured Volvo-type vehicle.
Anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously, or saw a similar vehicle, should contact Kendal CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55111.
