KENDAL police arrested three 18-year-old men after executing drugs warrants in the town.
Two properties on Stricklandgate were searched by officers shortly after 9pm on Saturday.
Two men were detained on suspicion of being in possession of cannabis and given fixed penalty notices.
A third man, arrested on suspicion of possession of and allowing his premises to be used for smoking a controlled drug, received a caution.
A Cumbria Police spokesman told the Gazette: "The aim of this operation was about ensuring that young people understand the dangers of recreational drugs and the warrants were applied to remove drugs from circulation."
