WALKING with wolves is a new attraction to be offered by a South Lakeland tourism business.
Visitors to the Predator Experience at Ayside, near Grange-over-Sands, will get the opportunity next March to go wandering with the wild cousins of dogs.
Owners Daniel and Dee Ashman have bought two Timber Wolf origin pups and people are to be invited to walk through forests or over fells with the animals.
“People can learn how to comunicate with the wolves,” said Mrs Ashman. “It might help people communiate with their dogs better. They will also get to see them in their natural enviroment and learn about their social interaction.”
Wolves were native to the UK until the 14th century.
Folklore has it that the last wolf in England was slaughtered at Humphrey Head, just two miles from where the two new cubs will be homed.
