YOUNG South Lakeland entrepreneurs will be selling a range of stocking fillers at this year’s Young Enterprise Christmas Trade Fair.
Taking place in Kendal’s Westmorland Shopping Centre on Saturday (December 1), 9am-4pm, the event will feature a range of trade stands from local schools.
Among those involved include students from Kirkbie Kendal, QKS, Dallam, Windermere, Kendal College, Ulverston Victorial High, Walney, Barrow sixth form college and Dowdales School.
They have all set up their own companies, supported by link teachers and business advisors.
As well as interacting with the general public, the students will be interviewed by a panel of judges – all local business people – who will assess their understanding and knowledge of their trade stand, product or service, financial information and sales figures.
This is the first of two trade fairs; the second will be held on Saturday 23rd February 2013, also at the Westmorland Shopping Centre.
