Volunteer Elf Mark Keefe, Reindeer Sue Jones and Santa ready to leave Kirkby Stephen East Station
VISITORS to Kirkby Stephen East station were treated to a visit from Santa, his elf and a reindeer at the weekend – and they all arrived on a train pulled by a steam locomotive.
Santa welcomed children into his grotto on board the Stainmore Railway Company special, while children’s author Tilly Walker read from her ‘Fred the Steeplejack’ in the station master’s office.
