Man's body found in swollen Furness stream

POLICE have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found in a Furness stream.
Officers, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene near a wooded area in Rake Lane, Ulverston, at 5.15pm yesterday (Saturday).
The dead man has not been formally identified but he is believed to be a local man aged 23.
Cumbria Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.
