Royal Mail reminds people of Christmas posting dates
9:25am Monday 17th December 2012 in News
THE Royal Mail is reminding people that the second class post deadline for those wanting to get cards to reach relatives before Christmas is tomorrow (Tuesday December 18).
The first class post deadline is Thursday, December 20th.
The Royal Mail is saying its Special Deliveries final posting date is Saturday, December 22.
Special Deliveries are a premium service which the Royal Mail says means post is guaranteed to be delivered by 9am or 1pm on Christmas Eve.
Robert Smith, Kendal Delivery Office manager, said the service was well organised and geared up for Christmas, but urged those who liked to order online to do so as soon as possible in case the weather changed and it delayed post.
