Police want to trace the driver of the light-coloured car which is sideways to the camera
POLICE in Windermere have released a CCTV image they hope will help them track down the driver of a car involved in a collision.
The incident occurred in the car park of Lakeland Limited at 3:05pm on Saturday, November 24.
Officers say they want to trace the driver of a light blue vehicle, shown sideways on in the centre right of the attached image, believed to be a Jaguar, which collided with a parked Audi causing damage to the driver’s door.
The light blue vehicle then immediately left the scene without leaving any details.
A spokesman said: "If you are the owner of the vehicle shown in the image or if you have any information that may help police with their enquiries, please contact PC Woods at Windermere Police Station by calling 101."
Information can also be provided anonymously by ringing Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
