Preston-bound Tribes are set to rock 53 Degrees in February
HAVING stormed Kendal Calling last summer, indie band Tribes are set to return to the area.
Fresh from recording Wish To Scream, the follow up to their superb debut Baby, the four-piece will perform what is sure to be a superb set at Preston’s brilliant venue, 53 Degrees, on Friday, February 1.
I first became aware of the band - which features Johnny Lloyd, Jim Cratchley, Dan White and Miguel Demelo - when they supported Mona in style at Lancaster Library in March 2011.
Then I was lucky enough to meet and interview them, backstage at Kendal Calling, near Shap, in July, and they were a very friendly bunch.
They headlined the Calling Out stage and their performance proved to be one of the highlights of the weekend.
And now with even more songs to perform, including the new free download single Wrapped Up In A Carpet, this is one gig that you definitely should not miss.
