Update: Floral tributes continue to be laid for 15-year-old Helena Farrell, found dead in Kendal woodland

MORE floral tributes have appeared along Sedbergh Road, Kendal, close to where the body of tragic Helena Farrell was found.

Dozens more notes, mementos, flowers and teddies have appeared at the spot, by the Castle Green Hotel, joining the hundreds already laid over the weekend by well-wishers.

The 15-year-old's body was found in woodland behind the hotel at around 10pm on Friday night.

Now the stretch of road close to the hotel has become a place for locals to mourn the popular teen, with tributes from friends and strangers alike.

Tealights and candles were also lit at the site following her death, burning in the shape of a letter ‘H’ and a heart.

Hundreds of tributes also poured in for Helena online.

A YouTube tribute video featuring photographs of the youngster made by friends has attracted more than 57,000 views.

A special Facebook page set up in her memory has been joined by nearly 3,000 users.

ABOVE: Tribute videos posted on YouTube by Helena's friends.

The moving photographic montage shows the talented teenager with fellow pupils, playing the guitar, relaxing at the beach, larking about in a toy car and enjoying spectacular mountain scenery with friends.

A person posting on YouTube as Mr Endada said of the video: "This beautiful girl is my daughter Helena, and she was the light of my life."

He went on: "My family is totally ripped apart. Thanks to those who made this collage video and to all those who have made such beautiful comments about her and for send kind thoughts to us, her heartbroken family Mum, Dad and brother Declan."

Another post underneath the video read: "A great video about a great girl she was one of a kind, sporty, musical and dramatic. She will be greatly missed RIP Helena."

The video was one of four put together and added to the website.

Heartfelt messages were also posted on Twitter and Facebook, with friend Dan Cafferty saying: "One smile, can start a friendship. One person, can change your life. Rest in peace Helena Farrell. Gone but never ever forgotten."

Chris Brown wrote: "Many memories from primary, and such a nice person! You will never be forgotten and always in our hearts! R.I.P Helena Farrell."

And Edan Carr said: "Helena Farrell that last KFC I had with you was so good! I'm honoured to have spent the day with you! And honestly so proud to call you one of my best friends and I will always have your smile and voice in my head!"

Helena, a pupil at Kirkbie Kendal School, was a member of the Westmorland Youth Orchestra and the Amabile Choir.

She appeared in her school’s production of We Will Rock You last year, and was celebrated by the Gazette for achieving a distinction in her grade seven cello and a merit in her grade six singing exams on the same day.

Helena leaves behind parents, Maria and Enda Farrell, and brother, Declan, 14.

Tributes can be left to Helena below.

Does the Gazette really have to place distracting ads (gala Bingo etc) in the middle of the distressing story about poor Helena - clear them off please!

Such a beautiful talented girl. Everyone who knew her should be so proud to have known her. Rest in peace and my heartfelt love and thoughts go out to her parents and to Declan because I know as a sister and a mother how devestating this loss is. My thoughts are with you all ****
