Cash and clock stolen in 'opportunistic theft' at Bowness

AN OPPORTUNIST thief made off with two wallets and a carriage clock from a home in Bowness.
The flat above Richardsons Butchers on Queens Square was targeted at 4.30pm on Sunday as the occupant was stood outside for a short time.
The thief entered the flat using a door on St Martins Parade and stole the wallets containing cash and a wooden carriage clock with enamel inlay.
The clock is 10” tall by 5” wide with a white enamel face and ‘London’ written underneath.
