Young affluents

10:46am Wednesday 8th August 2001

Croydon is emerging as a popular residence for young people with a high expendable income. According to a recent survey by Barclays Bank, nearly three percent of Croydon's population earn over £60,000 per annum and nearly 6 per cent of those earners are under 30.

This mean that of Croydon's 331,450 population, 9,810 earn £60k or above, and almost 600 of those are young affluents.
