Inquest to be held into death of Barrow man Dale Burns who died after being 'Tasered' by police

THE inquest into the death of a Barrow man who was Tasered by police is to be held in Kendal from Monday (January 21).
Dale Burns, who was 27, died in Furness General Hospital in August 2011.
An 11-strong jury will hear evidence from around 50 witnesses as the circumstances surrounding Mr Burns' death are examined.
The inquest will be held at County Hall, Busher Walk, under the direction of Deputy Coroner for South and East Cumbria, Alan Sharp.
It is expected to last up to three weeks, starting at 10am each day.
The inquest will not sit on Thursday, January 31.
Members of Mr Burns’ family, neighbours, police officers, medical staff and expert witnesses will be attending.
