Elderly man dies following accident this morning at Penrith Hospital

AN elderly man has died following a road traffic collision in the car park of Penrith Hospital earlier today.
Police said that at 11.24am today a collision occurred between a pedestrian and a Suzuki Swift driven by a woman.
The man, who is described as being elderly and believed to be from the Penrith area, died at the scene.
Police are currently working to identify the man and trace his family.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Cumbria Constabulary’s Headquarters Road Policing Unit on 101.
